VITALITY: Have you felt it lately?
Lit up from the inside. Overflowing with energy, joy and inner strength.
Have you ever felt truly alive?
Not just functioning… but radiant.
Lit up from the inside.
Overflowing with a love for life.
That, to me, is vitality.
It’s more than just physical energy or wellness.
Vitality is your life force—the sacred energy that pulses through your body and spirit.
It connects you with the natural world…
with the cycles of life…
with the collective energy that sustains all beings.
Vitality is the felt sense of being fully here—rooted in your body, open in your heart, spacious in your mind, and aligned with your soul.
Vitality Lives in Many Dimensions:
Physically: It’s not about being “perfectly healthy”—it’s about feeling responsive, grounded, and connected to your body as your ally and guide.
Emotionally: Vitality flows when we allow our feelings to move through us. When we feel safe to express joy, grief, desire, tenderness… without shame or suppression.
Mentally: It’s a clear and curious mind—uncluttered by constant worry or inner criticism. A mind that feels creative, spacious, and present.
Spiritually: It’s a sense of deep connection. With nature. With your intuition. With Source, the universe, God, or whatever name you give to the sacred mystery of life.
But Vitality can also be dimmed—
By stress, emotional suppression, disconnection from nature, self-neglect, and old beliefs that tell us we’re not enough unless we’re achieving, striving or endlessly serving others.
And yet…
It can also be restored—
by rest, creativity, play, soulful connection, emotional honesty, gentle movement, nourishing food, spending time with your dog, quiet time in the forest or under the stars…
By doing the things that help you remember who you are and what life is all about.
Vitality is not something we chase or strive for.
It’s not something gained simply through healthy lifestyle routines.
It’s something we reclaim.
It’s a remembering.
A returning.
A softening into what has always been there, waiting.
A few reflections for you, dear one:
When was the last time you felt filled with vitality?
What nourishes your vitality?
What diminishes or drains it?
How might you gently begin to reconnect with the life force within you?
There is no one-size-fits-all path.
But your body knows.
Your soul remembers.
And nature is always there to remind you.
Let’s walk this path of remembrance together.
With warmth, aliveness, and love,
Sue
Happy Easter dear Sue! I feel vital(ity) when I am active, engaged, enthusiastic, hopeful and balanced in myself, in creative projects (despite challenges), when being -and connected- with my dogs, in nature, in meditation, when signing, listening to music or a good podcast or dancing, after a good nights sleep, during or after a good chat or discussion with a friend, in the pursuit of self-care, after a fab meal, and most especially when camping - whether in my tent (best to be close to nature, sleeping exposed to the elements and under the stars) or in my self converted small Campervan when wild camping. Its a home away from home, a home in the midst of wild nature without modern day distractions, a home created by me for me (and my "associates") ... a little "bear den" or " fox covert" where I can hide from the world for a few hours or days if I feel I need some healthy solitude to recharge or reconnecting to my vitality.
